Each alphabet letter represents a different element that touches on topics of gay marriage. Let this guide the way to how the mind can see things in a different perspective and learn something new.

The Stupidest Tea Party (February 2013)

This was a 1 week collaboration project with Khalilah Camacho to make a typographic installation. The content is an excerpt from Alice in Wonderland. The modular design is to let the reader be able to read any parts of this excerpt and the idea would still come across. The white on black is reminiscent of coffee shops with their white text on blackboards to reference how classic literature are read in coffee shops.

Avant Red Flanders Ale (February 2013)

The packaging for this Red Flanders Ale beer was catered towards wine connoisseurs who would be interested in trying beer. The beer is bottled in Silverlake, CA, so the labels are letterpressed and pasted on a matted black bottle to give it a hipster feel. The gift box to store the bottle is made of red oak with a raffia bedding to keep the bottle from any damage. The lid slides out with a laser cut window in the shape of a snifter cup that makes it easy to view the label and acts as a handle to pull the lid off too.

Dear Journal (February 2013)

This typographic video was created from a journal entry I wrote years ago about a break up I was going through. The piece is a sad, yet hopeful one that is personal and is inviting the viewer into my thoughts. The typeface Caslon was used for all the words and John Adams’ Phrygian Gates was the background track.

Redefine Film Festival Posters (December 2012)

These series of posters were done for the curated film festival that I created called Redefine. Redefine Film Festival brings into question the meaning of what marriage really is. The posters were done using illustrator for the films How a Federal Law is Passed, I Want to Know What it’s Like and Straight and Narrow.

Focusing on the word sharp, this guide book for how to look stylish for the contemporary men was made. It is an instructional and a reference book to go to for how to shop, what to wear and many more tips and advice. The book was sewn and glued together by hand and the cover design was made with vinyl.
